The misfortune of being ME!!

Oh me oh my!!! i've done it again. Topped what stupid things I have done throughout my life. I am in serious consideration of turning these events into a utube channel/Blog. Oh wait I already have this blog.
It can sometimes be boring, I know, but I've had an Ahah moment, of showing you all how much MORE stupid I could actually get!! So this Blog may not be too boring after all. I guess we'll see. Ha

So Here's the story:(As said on my Facebook Post's)
Post #1:
"2 Strikes ALREADY!! One more & Im out!! 1. Palmolive in the dishwasher...2. today I drove away from the house with the extension cord still plugged into the SUV!!! Ahhhhhh Yes people...i know....~......♥ ♥ ♥ "

Yes I ended up putting Palmolive in the dishwasher at work about 2 weeks ago. After several mop sessions, the floor was beyond normal clean, but the dishes were still slimy and covered in soap, so I thought I'd run the cycle again....Oops, dont do that either. That just makes angry bubbles! So after several rinse cycle's and me supervising the machine along with using cold water (not hot) it seemed to help a little, but it all didn't fully take all the Palmolive out, so it was a touch & go kind of day with the dishwasher that day.

Then a few days later, I actually drove away from the house without unplugging the car. (Yes, we HAVE to plug our cars in up here in O' Canada) We don't have year-round heatwaves...(I wish)! So yeah, I drove down the block with the cord dragging behind me. I guess a fellow old timer neighbor saw this and just chuckled to himself. just in time the cord fell off the car and this nice guy rolled it up and hung it over his fence so we could see it and grab it.

The WHOLE socket came out of the house...Ooops again...
Power was off all day, so the house was FREEZING when we got home 10C. On a positive note, the coldness from no heat, actually saved our food in the fridge! Haha

Post #2: As it turns out..(continue from..driving away with xtension cord)...I ripped out a 4inchx4inch hole in the side of our house...all the power was shut off (safety something or other).so from 7:15am till5:00pm warm fridge...FREEZING HOUSE...no Power whatsoever! AND..Oh yes there's an AND...Our Kitchen sink greeted us wit...h a HUGE pile of Freezing water on kitchen floor...(evidence shows..not Sarah's fault) Poor Charlie!

I guess this is where I should use Homer's expression..."DOH"!!

HALLOWEEN!!

Happy Halloween!
just want to wish everyone a safe and happy halloween.

We all love the treats being giving out this time, but keep in mind; if you buy the candy you love whatever is left will no doubtedly end up in your tummy. A good way to at least attempt to prevent blowting or even a little weight gain, would be to buy the candy you prefer not to eat. That way if there is any left, you won't be so tempted to chow down on all that sugar!

Here's a website that can help you decide what you want to be, candy ideas, recepies and all other sorts of Goulish things~

As you all have probebly heard on the news lately this years fashion trend seems to be the crazy celebrities we see daily, bombarding our T.V. screens.
Take for example, the Kate Gosslin Wig, or The Balloon Boy Stint.
What ever happened to the good ol' scary cowboys & Indians. Is that politicaly incorrect now?
I miss the days of scary costume's.
Now it's eaither a mock joke, or a slutty nurse outfit.
Sure Halloween can be for adults, but REALLY?? Who needs to see so much of what we ALREADY see on TV. Is there no individuality anymore?
If your going Trick 'O' Treating this year, or even a Halloween Party be creative!!
Do something that is different, not something we all see EVERYDAY!

Buy a new House, Travel Europe and Yes, have children....all in a year!!

James & I are really excited about the upcoming year. We have a lot planned, but they say if you don't just start doing it, it'll never get done, or you'll never get around to doing it. In the 9 years we have been together, we were more focused on making our lives set and secure before we went out to venture around the world. That meant, buying our first home, which is cute. I love it. Getting settled and even tying the knot! Which took us 2 years from engagement. Now that the big stuff is done, I couldn't help but wonder about travelling abroad and exploring the world around us. My brother, who so excitedly decided travelling was the way for him, left the house at 19 and travelled for 5 years, ended up in N.Y. and has never left. I do get some inspiration from that brother. Be Free, Explore, Don't put your eggs in one basket..

Zip-Line in PV, Mexico!

Here's a video of our Zip-Line Adventure in Mexico. The photos are taken by a guy who acted as a "monkey" the whole time. Seriously clinging to water-covered cliffs and ledges to get these shots. Amazing photography, so much fun. Vallarta Adventures is awsome! Riding Donkey's...er sorry I ment Mule's up, and Zipping down, falling into fresh-water ponds and coasting over the rugged cliffs, I couldn't have asked for a better way to spend that day in Mexico with some of the wedding party!

Love You Guys! ;p

This is Dreams Resort & Spa Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

the BEST place to get married. We had such a wonderful time, I am so sad to be back home. A vacation property down there isn't looking so bad right now!

Our new puppy Charlie
Summer 2006

Painted Fence

I'm not sure it will ever get done! Love, love the rain, but not when projects are delayed. Especially projects that NEED to be done. Painting in and around the house has been priority recently but keeps getting delayed by our lovely spring showers.
don't get me wrong; fresh rain, fresh smells, all the beauty after a rain shower is wonderful, but to have something to do that has been put on the back-burner for some time now is killing me!
I currently gaze out my front room window to look at a sanded down fence with old paint color chipping away, and an ugly color to top it!
I am sure the weather will let up soon, and we will be well on our way to a new color around the house. As for putting this place on the market, well, that may be some time yet.
